H. Susana Marinho's research is carried out at Centro de Química e Bioquímica (Center of Chemistry and Biochemistry - CQB) where she is group leader of the Redox Biology Group.
Her main research interests are cellular redox regulation/signalling and the biochemistry of glutathione. The main research themes in the last years have been the mechanisms of adaptation to hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) in yeast and regulation of gene expression by H2O2 in yeast and human cell lines.
