* Not that it matters, but... I've noticed that the first chip reader (at the "start" of the run) is located as much as 200m *before* the actual starting line, where the race begins for the elite runners. Which means that my real time over the official distance is over 1 minute less than the chip time. Again, not that it matters, but do I wish race organizers were less cagey about these matters.
